I love apples throughout the year, not just in the fall. I pair them with peanut butter, cheese and love to flavor them with cinnamon!
This recipe is a way to enjoy apples in a different way that tastes like apple pie without the added sugar. Enjoy it for a healthy treat or a healthy bedtime snack!
Ingredients
1 apple, sliced thin
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
1) Heat a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
2) Add sliced apples and cook 2-3 minutes.
3) Sprinkle with cinnamon and cook additional minute.
4) Enjoy on their own or with a touch of heavy cream or homemade (sugarless) whipped cream :)
