Postpartum Fitness Training so you can get strong after baby
Get back to fitness safely after pregnancy with expert postpartum fitness training from a mom who learned from mistakes you don't want to make.
After my first pregnancy I rushed the process too quickly and wasn't equipped with how to train a postpartum body. I began experiencing issues I had never dealt with before like leaking, pelvic pressure and pain. This is what I want you to avoid!
You want to begin exercising again after pregnancy to improve your body composition, but you want to do it safely to prevent pelvic floor and core dysfunction.
Knowing what I know now about postpartum exercise, I want to make sure you don't experience similar problems as me when I jumped into exercise without a strong core foundation.

Follow the Three Phases of Postpartum
Phase 1: Rest
Allow your body to rest right after delivery and get to know your baby as your body begins to heal. This is the time to focus on sleep and learning your new role as a mom.
Phase 2: Rehab
There may be underlying conditions like diastasis recti, prolapse, or weakness you'll want to address and prevent before jumping into lifting weights or attending that pilates class.
