Low Sugar, High Protein: Walnut Banana Yogurt Parfait

I get sugar cravings just like you. Sometimes I have ice cream, but most of the time I try to get creative and fix myself a snack that's easy on the thighs, if you know what I mean...


Greek yogurt is a great option and can be made into all kinds of creations, this being one of them.

When buying Greek yogurt go for full-fat, or whole milk, plain yogurt. You can flavor it up yourself later which will allow you to be in control of the sugar content.



Banana Walnut Yogurt Parfait

Serves 1

Per serving: Calories = 312, Protein = 23g, Carbs = 18g, Fat = 17g


Ingredients

1 cup full-fat, plain Greek yogurt

1/2 tsp maple syrup (optional)

1/8 cup chopped walnuts

1/8 cup chopped banana chips


Directions

1) Mix yogurt and syrup together in a bowl.

2) Top the yogurt with walnuts and banana chips.
