Pot roast is a favorite meal of ours, especially during the cold months.
This recipe takes no time to put together and you can use either a slow cooker or Instant Pot.
Ingredients 3 lb. beef chuck roast
6 baby red potatoes, halved (can also use 2 cups new potatoes)
6 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 onions, quartered
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup beef broth
Slow Cooker Directions
1) Add the roast, veggies, seasonings and broth to the slow cooker pot.
2) Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
Instant Pot Directions
1) Add the roast to the pot along with the veggies, seasonings and broth.
2) Set the Instant Pot to 'Manual' setting for 70 minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally.
