Copycat Perfect Bars

Have you seen or tried those new(er) Perfect Bars that have popped up in every store?

I bought the kids version for my own littles this week and decided to make my own version to save myself some cash while still feeding my kids a healthy, yummy, filling snack (that I can enjoy, too!).

With only 5 ingredients and a food processor, these were way too easy to whip together to go with our lunch today. I recently bought this Ninja blender system and I love, love, LOVE it! Definitely an upgrade from my $10 Oster blender we got as a wedding gift. This thing has sharp blades (sharp enough to have been sliced a couples times already!) and the power to blend or mix up anything. So if you're looking to upgrade your own blender this one is a great option!

Ingredients

2 cups peanut butter (only peanuts and salt in ingredient list)

1/2 cup pecans

2 Tbsp honey

2 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions

1) Add peanut butter, pecans, honey, vanilla, and protein powder into a food processor or high speed blender. Blend until all ingredients are mixed and a dough forms.

2) Prepare a square baking dish by lining it with parchment paper. Pour the dough out into the dish and press it firmly and evenly into the dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the dough and press them into the dough.

3) Refrigerate at least 1 hour before slicing and enjoying. Keep refrigerated for best results.
