Christmas is coming! Which means that a plethora of sugary treats will be around to tempt us very soon.
I know that if treats are in my house I will more than likely eat them. I don't have much self control, to be honest. My strategy is to make a couple kinds of treats that I won't feel guilty giving to my kids. I know that I feel better when I eat well and I also know that my kids behave better when they do, too. These two reasons alone are motivation enough to limit the sugar this holiday season!
Here's a recipe you can feel good about enjoying and sharing. I've already made them a few times this year. They remind me a little bit like a Russian tea cake type of cookie ball except these have a hint of lemon to compliment the macadamia nutty crunch. Delish!
Bring these healthy cookie dough balls to your holiday cookie swap!
