Food and fitness are my passion. As a former dieter, over-exerciser, and calorie counter I know what it's like trying to reach a weight loss goal while feeling miserable. Eating less and moving more was not the answer. I never saw my body change the way I wanted it to.
Instead of chasing the next diet fad, I learned everything I could about how to treat my body the right way. And it was a lot simpler than what I was doing! That's why I'm here, to make weight loss and a healthy lifestyle simple for you, too.
I have two kids of my own, a girl and a boy - plus a puppy if he counts - who have become my world. Becoming a mom has shown me the best and worst parts about myself. My kids have taught me more about life than anyone!
My days are spent living in leggings, reheating my coffee, and sneaking in little moments for myself.
I am happiest when I'm with my family, in my kitchen creating new recipes that I love sharing with you, or playing board games around the kitchen table.
You can count on me to be someone to laugh with, an ear to listen, and the girl who will always get your Friends references.
